It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannie Alston-Winston of Kathleen, Georgia, born in Battleboro, North Carolina, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alston and Jean Alston; her husband Willie Winston; and her brothers, James "Pete" and Dwight Alston.

She is survived by: her daughter Monica Cave (Tony); her sister Sharon Tuppience of Virginia; her grandchildren, Lauryn and Sydnei Cave of Maryland; and her nephews, Tony and Bryant Alston. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
