It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elie Vickers Sears of Kathleen, Georgia, born in Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on October 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sears and Pearl Sears. He is survived by: his wife Grace Sears; his children, Cheryl Scarborough (Riley) of Warner Robins, Richard Sears of Kathleen, Roger Sears (Reba) of Roberta, Larry Monroe (Karen) of Lizella and Michael Sears (Barbara) of Northport, Florida; and his grandchildren, Spencer Powell, Jeremy Sears, Rick Sears, Dillon Bowman and Chanel Harrison. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
