It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gardner of Kathleen, Georgia, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Kirby Gardner and Carmen Gardner (Roberts); his wife Oveda Gardner (Hinson) of Kathleen; his daughters, Debbie Edenfield Blocker of Warner Robins and Charline Logue (Jimmy Hagin) of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Christopher James Edenfield (Allie) and Jessica Danielle Logue (Cory Bard); his great grandchildren, Penelope Jo Bard and John Reid Edenfield; and his sister Ann Lowery of Lancaster, SC. He was also cherished by other extended family and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the safety and health of the family and their friends, a private graveside service will be held at Parkway Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 7, 2021 with Reverend Fred McCoy officiating.
