He was predeceased by: his father William; and his wife Betty. He is survived by: his daughters, Wanda Coggins, Vanessa Beeland, Donna Sheffield and Rachel Mercer; and also Coggins. He is also survived by five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
William's final resting place will be at East Juliette Baptist Church. in lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
