He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Hill Bowdoin. He is survived by: his father Marvin E. Bowdoin; his sons, Benjamin Bowdoin of Athens, Georgia and William Bowdoin of Athens, Georgia; and his sisters, Teri Pless (Mike) and Libbie Adams. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
