She was predeceased by: her husband William Nolan Stapleton Sr.; her parents, John David Richardson and Martha Tribble Richardson; and her sister Bonnie Gardiner. She is survived by: her children, William N. Stapleton Jr. (Jill) of Forsyth, Georgia and Max Stapleton of Macon; and her granddaughters, Sydney and Emerson Stapleton.
