He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Defore and Stella Defore (McElheney); and his sister Carol Baldwin. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Martin DeFore; his daughter Lorry Turner; his son-in-law Jeff Turner of Roopville; and his grandchildren, MaryLeith Turner of Maryville, Parks Turner (Abigail) of Rome, Zebulun Turner and Arden Turner.
The family asks for donations to be made to Martha Bowman Memorial United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers, 500 Bass Road, Macon, GA 31210.
