He is survived by: his girlfriend Kathy Butler Sellers of Forsyth; his children, John Taylor Atkinson (Crystal) of Warner Robins, Ashley Atkinson Powell of Forsyth and Emily Atkinson of Tifton; and his grandchildren, Emmie Powell and Jaxson Powell.
