It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Bennett (Juliette, Georgia), born in Salem, South Carolina, who passed away on May 5, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vondvia Bennett and Fay Harris Bennett; and his wife Nellie Blackwell Bennett. He is survived by: his sons, Clyde Hulon Bennett (Patsy Ann) and Roger Dale Bennett (Cheryl) of Juliette; and his sister Eloise Hamilton of Salem. He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private graveside service for family will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020 in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville, Georgia with no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Christian Fellowship Church, 409 Indian Springs Street, Jackson, GA 30233.
