He is survived by: his wife Myrtle McCullough Ison; and his siblings, Newton Ison, Jr. (Becky) of Brooks, GA, Reverend Bonny Ison (Dianne) of Crawfordville, FL, Linda Shepherd (Larry) of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Marion Ison (Janice) of Griffin, GA, Sherry Gary (Tom) of Marietta, GA and Mike Ison (Sheila) of DeFuniak Springs, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
