He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Vaughan and Erin Vaughan; and his brother Steve Vaughan. He is survived by: his children, Warren Vaughan Jr. (Jess) of Smyrna and Lauren Vaughan of Kennesaw; his sisters, Gale Ginn of Lake City and LaWanda Oswalt of Lake City; and his grandchildren, Cardee Vaughan, Rhett Vaughan, Anne "Wesley" Vaughan and Archer Vaughan.
