With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thurman Eugene Laughridge of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thurman Eugene Laughridge to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his parents, Virlyn Laughridge and Nora Banks Laughridge; his siblings, Charlotte Durham, Dorothy Chappell, Ronnie Laughridge, James Laughridge and Virlyn Laughridge; his wife Vickie Baker Laughridge; his children, Thurman, Jennifer Laughridge, Samuel Laughridge, Sheila, Mark Whitt, Jeremy Petty, Michael Laughridge, Tenesa Laughridge, Nicole Petty, Chevy, Charles Swanson, Cody Laughridge and Robert Laughridge; his siblings, Carol McBurnett and Donald; and his sister-in-law Elaine Laughridge. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at http://www.mda.org.
