He is survived by: his friends, Larry Wynn and Larry Lind; his wife Sandra Hawkins Johnson; his children, Cindy Johnson and Ken T. Johnson (Cathy); his granddaughter Tara J. Nash (Cliff); his great grandchild Clara Nash; his sister Pat J. Alexander; his friend Doug Foster; and his sisters-in-law, Jackie Sims, Robbie Blake and Sharon Pursell (Jack).
He later joined Zion Hill Baptist Church in Jonesboro, GA, where he attended faithfully until the pandemic.
