It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rufus Stokes of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Earlyn Stokes; his sons, Jeremy Tyrone Murphy and Rufus F. Stokes III; his stepsons, Duane and Dirk Smile; his grandchildren, Tyja, Nyla Murphy and Ariana Smile; and his sister Dr. Gwendolyn Stokes Clash. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews, and cousins.
