With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal Helen Hobgood of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Brannon and Flora Brannon; her husband Lewis Hobgood; her son Rick Hobgood; and her grandson Dean Hobgood.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Weems (Kenny), Peggy Warwick (Mike), Nancy Wells and Larry Hobgood (Joanie); and her sister Margaret Latshaw. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
