She was predeceased by: her parents, Layton Truax and Dorothy Truax. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert George; her son Gilbert "Gil" George (Lisa) of Jonesboro; her brother Richard "Dickey" Truax; her siblings-in-law, Marion George (Kathleen), Elaine Shelton and Betty Todd (John) of Clarkesville, GA.; her grandchildren, Holli Ray, Tyler Lindsey (Roger) and Hannah Liguori (Trevor); and her great grandchildren, Hayden Ray, Kassi Sproles and Kolbi Sproles. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
