She was predeceased by: her parents, George Staples and Ruby Staples; her husband Clarence S. Griffith; and her daughters, Beckie Legrand and Margie Baker.
She is survived by: her children, George Benson Griffith of Griffin, GA, Thomas Ray Griffith of Griffin, GA, Carl Andrew Griffith of Tampa Bay, FL and Amanda Louise Bryant of Jonesboro, GA; and her grandchildren, Richard Baker, Rachael Singleton, Tabitha Sprayberry, Jillian Papalardo, Kassy Boleman, TJ Griffith, Ivy Legrand, Billy Bryant, Megan Griffith, Stephan Griffith and Matthew Griffith.
