She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Vine and Annie Ruth Owen (Thompson); her husband Wilber L. Harris; her sisters, Edythe Owen Hightower Russell and Jane Owen; and her nephew Mike Hightower.
She is survived by: her children, David Harris (Diane) of McDonough, Georgia, Wade Harris (Linda) of McDonough, Georgia and Benita Moore (William) of Jonesboro, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Jenni Hawkins (Clay) of Decatur, Georgia, Emily Trawick (Lee) of Queen Creek, Arizona, Owen Harris (Deundrea) of Litchfield Park, Arizona, Lee Moore (Lisa) of Eugene, Oregon, Walter Moore (Megan) of Doraville, Georgia and William Rhodes-Hamby (Anya) of Flagstaff, Arizona.; and her nephews, Bill Hightower (Denise) and Brad Hightower (Teri). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
