It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Virginia Maxey of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Stanley and Gladys Stanley; her husband Myron L. Maxey; and her brother Walter Stanley. She is survived by: her sister Katherine Dodson (Ron) of Lake City, GA; her children, Stanley Maxey (Michelle) of Stockbridge, GA and Lisa Bicksel (Jim) of Annandale, VA.; and her grandchildren, Hollyanne Maxey, Wesley Maxey, Michael Bicksel and Ashley Bicksel. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Morrow (1647 Lake Harbin Rd, Morrow, GA 30260). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
