She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Caldwell and Berta Caldwell; her son Anthony Ely Sr.; her grandchildren, Chris Ely and Kelsey Ely; and her siblings, Thomas Caldwell, Betty Baker, R. C. Caldwell, Frances Thomas, Janet Wood and Charles Caldwell.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Ely of Jonesboro, Gary Ely (Annette) and Kevin Ely of Jonesboro; and her sister Dorothy Pirkle of Rome. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
