It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Huie of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver "Malcolm" Huie, Jr.; and her brothers, Hermand E. Roland and William Clifton Roland. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Huie of Jonesboro and Mal Huie of Jackson; her granddaughters, Hanna Huie and Hayley Huie; and her nieces and nephews, Scott Holloway, Ronnie Roland, Terry Roland, Donna DeLisle and Nancy Suarez. She is also survived by numerous other nephews and nieces.
