He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Bell, Sr. and Olivia J. Wooten Bell; his daughter Sarah Jane Bell Carne; and his brother Benson Bell. He is survived by: his wife Estelle Bell; and his children, James C. Bell III (Leisha) and Jean Bell-Dumas (Norman). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
