He was predeceased by : his wife Eva Patricia Jones; and his parents, Leslie Jones and Margaret Jones. He is survived by : his children, David K. Jones (Kendyl Jones) and Angela Jones Allen of Morrow; his grandson Jason Abraham Newman; and his pet Bogey.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
