It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertie Lee Gilbert (Jonesboro, Georgia), who passed away on January 2, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James E. Gilbert; her daughters, Vicky Batten (Sam) of Stockbridge and Scarlett Hovda (Jeff) of Woodstock; her brother Rufus Nichols (Joyce) of Conyers; and her grandchildren, Brittany Batten, Hailey Hovda and Kaitlyn Hovda. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
