He was predeceased by: his parents, George Robert Abbey, II and Edna Mae Abbey; and his daughter Sandy Abbey. He is survived by: his wife Vonnie Abbey; his children, Marie Dodson (Dave) and Dewayne Landers of Griffin; and his sister Bobbie Reville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
