With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred McLean (Jonesboro, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Fred McLean Jr.; his parents, Mary McLean and George McLean; and his siblings, Charles McLean, Leonard McLean, James McLean, Juanita Bowens and Elizabeth Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce McLean; his children, Theresa "Terye" Sununu (Bill) of Delray Beach, FL and George McLean (Ashley) of McDonough; his grandchildren, Jessica, Mercedes, Trey, Jordan, Kayleigh, Shawn, Jasmine and Kendra; and his great grandchildren, Liberty, Belle, William, Avery and Harvey.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home (2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
