He was predeceased by: his parents, Muriel Searles and Carl Oberg. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Oberg; his daughters, Catherine Marlowe (James), Stephanie Samples and Adrienne Carr (Joshua); and his grandchildren, Olivia Samples, Elizabeth Ozburn and Jared Ozburn. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ford Stewart Funeral Home Inc. (2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236).
