With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Connie Head of Jonesboro, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 64. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Connie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Connie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Lanier Hansard and Ethel Lee Betsill Hansard. She is survived by: her son Kyle Head (Amber McKenzie); her sister Jennie Smith; her nephews, Justin Smith (Jennifer) and Austin Smith; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emmy, Kinsley and Rhett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ford Stewart Funeral Home Inc. (2047 Hwy 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
