He was predeceased by: his wife Alice M. Carey. He is survived by: his children, Arthur "Tom" Carey (Tammy) of Booneville, MS., Victoria Catherine Perrett of Savannah and Cynthia Ann Owens (Robin) of Greer, S. C.; and his grandchildren, Lois Lucinda Robinson (Timothy), Jade Willis (Braden), John Michael Carey (Lenzi) and Jasmine Krull (Lucas). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
