He is survived by: his children, Shelton Smith (Kathy) of Jesup, Chris Smith (Courtney) of Jesup and Jennifer Beasley (Steve) of Jesup; his sister Phyllis Ward (John) of Jesup; his grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Zoe Smith, Mallory Dixon (Josh), Stephene Harrell (Luke) and Allison Counts; and his great grandchildren, Zander Williams, Braydon, Paris and Jameson Counts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
