He is survived by: his wife Sarah Mathis of Jesup; his children, Eric Mathis of Jesup, Shanna Martin of Jesup, Travis Martin of Jesup, Desiree Mathis of Jesup and BillieJoe Mauney (Joshua) of Brunswick; and his siblings, Jackie Mathis of Colorado, Jonelle McGauley of Jesup, Dot Cameron (Bull) of Jesup, Ann Grantham (Skip) of Jesup, Debby Mathis Davis of Brunswick and Pam Harter (Foy) of Screven. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
