It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Jackson Smiley (Jesup, Georgia), who passed away on January 26, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Avis Baxter Smiley; his son Roger Dale Smiley; his parents, Manton Smiley and Evie Smiley; and his siblings, Itaska Smiley Waters and Jimmie Tavy Smiley.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kristin; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Jace Jolin; his nephew Kevin Smiley (Lori); his niece Barbara Waters Pearson; and also Glenda Gail Smiley.
