He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Stipe and Maude Morgan Stipe; his son Joey D. Richardson; and his brothers, Dan and Jimmy Stipe.
He is survived by: his wife Ronda Hodges Stipe of Jesup; his children, Leisa Forman (Dave) of Cumming and Billy Stipe (Amy) of Jesup; his brother Charles Ray Stipe (Beckie) of Baxley; his grandchildren, Madalynn, Blake, Abel Stipe, Emilie, Eli Forman, Tim and Brent Richardson; and his great grandchildren, Charli, Jorah and Jolynn Richardson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
