He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joel Thomas Carroll Jr. and Bobby Raymond Carroll; and his grandchildren, Cassidy LeAnne Clark and Elijah Faulkner. He is survived by: his wife Opal Swain Carroll of Jesup; his children, Rhonda Carroll Smith of Nashville, Melanie Carroll of Clarkesville, Betty Faulkner Stephens (Linton) of Hazlehurst, Diane Faulkner Clark (Ron) and Steve Faulkner of Jesup; and his brothers, John Quillian Carroll (Zerelda) of Nashville and Wayne Howard Carroll (Hazel) of Quitman. He is also survived by Eight Grandchildren and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
