He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Salls and Grace Bradley Salls; his sons, Christopher and Victor Anthony Salls; and his siblings, Richard, James, Phillip, John, Hiram, Leonard, Eliza Bruorton, Marjorie Templeton, Katebelle Shedrick and Fleda Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Bouchard Salls of Odum, Georgia; his sister Lillian Haley of Texas; and his grandchildren, Bryan, Gabrielle, Kristopher Salls, Phillip Caldwell, Douglas Salls, Jr., Alisha, Maximilian, Nicole, Valencia, Avianna Salls, Savannah Curry, Marcel, Nathaniel Salls and Nevaeh Routhier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
