It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Safto of Jesup, Georgia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 16, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Safto and Marie Onyschuk Safto; and his former wife Lorraine Anthony Safto. He is survived by: his wife Miriam Browning Safto of Jesup, GA; his daughter Kathleen Pertschi of Southampton, PA; his half-brother Dr. Wallace Quinlan (Sally) of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Katie Pertschi of Maitland, FL and Kristopher Pertschi (Dianne) of Southampton, PA; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Owen; his stepson Randy Shoemaker (Jennifer) of Brunswick; his stepgrandchild Sidney; and also Lynn Anne of New Jersey.
