He was predeceased by: his sons, Solomon Kersey, Jr. and Jerry Kersey. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Lee Leonard Kersey; and his daughters-in-law, Charmaine Kersey of Valdosta and Michelle Kersey of Jasper. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
