He was predeceased by: his parents, Melinda Kay Sellers Thornton and Scott Hamilton Thornton Sr.. He is survived by: his close friend Brooke Crosby of Jesup; his sister Samantha Hill (Dylan); his nephew Matthew Allen of Jesup; and his brother Ryan Shoemaker of Texas.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Cracker Williams Recreation Center Building (245 E Bay St, Jesup, GA 31546).
