He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Overfield and Bertha Overfield; and his daughters, Marsha Overfield and Jennifer L. Kramer. He is survived by: his wife Danita Overfield of Jesup; his children, Cindy Hively (Michael) of Claxton, Bryan K. Overfield (Danielle) of Jesup and Ruby J. Sterling (Jim) of Jacksonville, Florida; his son-in-law James Kramer of Jesup; and his grandchildren, Jessica Kramer, Joshua Humphrey, Danielle Humphrey, Tiffany Ratliff, James Sterling and Stephanie Sterling (Heather Kinlaw). He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Unity Church of God (1580 Sunset Blvd, Jesup, GA 31545). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
