She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Preston Highsmith; and her siblings, Merley Crummey, Pearlie Williams, Alex Williams, Jr., Dillon and Bill Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Rita Kay Highsmith of Jesup; her grandson Chad Highsmith (Shelby) of Jesup; her sisters, Sue Shuman of Jesup, Judy Kennedy of Jesup and Margie Crabb of Jesup; and her great grandchild Callahan Preston Highsmith.
