As Martha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martha leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Atticus Woods and Myrtle Woods; and her brother Leon Woods. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Williamson (Buck) of Jesup, Junior Thompson of Jesup and Timothy Thompson of Jesup; and her siblings, Linda Blackwell (Billy) of Odum, Margie Marterson, Jean Woods, Judy Echols (Phil) of Jesup and Charles Woods (Deborah) of Jesup. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
