She is survived by: her husband Harold Hanson of Jesup; her children, Herschell Lamar Hires, Jr. (Lee Ann) of Lake City, Fla., Clifton Hires (Susan) of Waycross and Bernice H. Varnedore of Richmond Hill; and her brothers, Jimmy Ward of Hiwassee and Billy Ward of Albany. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
