He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Bennett Aspinwall; and his sister Vonnie Holloway Heath. He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Dixon; his son Lonnie Kyle Aspinwall; his sisters, Estelle Duggan, Ruth Price and Ouida Murphy; and his nieces, Charlene H. Strickland of Odum and Janice A. Murphy of Atlanta. He is also survived by three nephews.
