He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbur Jones (Farmer) and Kathleen Wildes Jones; his siblings, Susan Harris and Scotty Jones; his brother-in-law Dwight Dunham; his wife Jannette Westberry Jones of Jesup; his son Rickey Jones of Jesup; his grandson Gavin Jones (Courtney); his great grandchild Case Jones; and his siblings, Kathy Dunham of Jesup, Johnny Jones (Vivian) of Jesup and David Jones (Dianne) of Lafayette. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
