She is survived by: her spouse Farris H. Thornton, Sr.; her siblings, Mallory Horton and Glinda Thornton; her adoptive daughter Deborah Tamms; her son-in-law Ray Thorne; her children, Cynthia Thornton of Blackshear, Debbie Hodges Thornton of Mershon, Annette Thorne of Offerman, Phillis (Allen Smith), Darlene (Tony Thorne), Farris Thornton, Jr. (Valerie) of Offerman and Shon Thornton of Patterson; her siblings, Tommy Horton (Renee) of Jacksonville, Rudy Horton of Jesup and Willa Siemek (Vern) of Jesup; and her grandsons, Hunter Thornton, Josh Thornton, Justin Thorne, Matthew Smith, Anthony Thorne and Aaron Thornton. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
