She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, T. R. Barnes, Jr. and Evelyn Barnes Cason (Randall); her brothers, Joe and Jamie Barnes; her sons, Dyle Brinkley (Rena) of Jesup, Matthew of Jesup and Shane Brinkley (Ceirra Owens) of Jesup; her grandchildren, Nicole Brinkley (Austin Wolff), Christopher Brinkley (Mary Jean) and David Brinkley; her great grandchildren, Luna, Whitney, Will and Nevaeh Brinkley; and her siblings, Peggy Dover, Margaret Bargeron, Gloria Rapier, Anita Gardner (Joe), Rusty Barnes (Gail) and Billy Barnes (Tena). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
