With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavern Eugene Dent (Jesup, Georgia), who passed away on September 21, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lester Dent and Eula Durden Dent; his grandson Nathaniel Ray Bilbrey; and his son-in-law Raymond H. Bilbrey. He is survived by: his wife Martha Mansfield Dent of Jesup; his children, Brenda D. Bilbrey of Jesup and Daniel L. Dent of Jesup; his granddaughters, Rachel B Clary (Josh) and Alyssa D. Jones (Michael); his great grandchildren, Annsley Dallas Clary, Emalyn Hope Jones and Kyla Brynn Jones; his siblings, Nellie Newberry (Howard), Annette Weldon (Alan), Tommie Dent, Wyman Dent (Mildred) and Donald Dent (Virginia); and his sister-in-law Carolyn T. Dent. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
