He is survived by: his sons, Matthew and Jonah Tanner; his granddaughter Jakayla Tanner; his brother Wayne Tanner; his son-in-law Dakota Clary; his wife Belinda Wheeler Tanner of Jesup; his children, John Wesley Tanner, Sr. (Jessica) of Hortense, Bo Tanner of Jesup, Renea Rozier of Jesup, Steven Tanner of Jesup, Kimberly Clotter (Frank) of Jacksonville, FL, Gage Tanner of Waycross, Evan Tanner of Jesup, LeAnn Tanner of Jesup and Jahmir Darden Tanner of Jesup; and his siblings, Gail Nipper of Alma, Wannell Chancey (Stanley) of Waycross, Mary Wilburn (Francis) of Darien, JoAnn Watson (Eddie) of Blackshear, Kenny Tanner (Kathy) of Jesup and Tony Tanner (Tish) of Jesup. He is also survived by Seventeen Grandchildren, Seven Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
