He was predeceased by: his father John Wesley Tanner; his son Jonah Tanner; and his brothers, John, Larry and Chester Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Tanner of Jesup; his daughter Kasey Tanner of Jesup; his siblings, Tony Tanner (Tisha) of Jesup, Gail Nipper (Larry Johnson) of Blackshear, Mary Wilbur (Francis) of Darien, Joanne Wasdin (Eddie) of Blackshear and Wandell Chancey (Stanley) of Waycross; his granddaughter Natalie Tanner; and his sister-in-law Belinda Tanner of Jesup. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
