He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Floyd, Sr. and Wilhelmena Greenway Floyd; and his brother James Franklin Floyd, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Brooks Floyd of Uvalda; his children, Jennifer Hardenbrook (Scott) of Jesup, Jimmy Floyd of Jesup and Joseph Floyd (Michelle) of Gainesville, FL; his stepdaughters, Kelly Carraway of Mt. Vernon and Lacy Jackson (Resse) of Galveston, TX.; his grandchildren, Ciara Eads, Chase, Joseph Floyd, Jr., Madilyn Lambert (Christian) and MacKenzeigh Hardenbrook; his stepgrandchildren, Gracelyn Carraway, Kyle, Hannah and Brooke Jackson; and his sister-in-law Deanna Dowdy Floyd.
